Berlin, morning of November 10th, 1989; like every day, I got on the bus to go to school. But that morning, something was different. The streets were filled with Trabants, like a collective whisper announcing a shift. What I didn’t know yet was that during the night, the Berlin Wall had fallen, letting hope escape through its cracks.
That evening, driven by this surge of history, I made my way to Potsdamer Platz, armed with my first camera, a small Minox.
In the cold November air, I captured the dawn of a new era.
