Under the misty sky of Paris, in 2011, I once again tread the familiar cobblestones after fourteen long years away from the city that shaped me. A return to a bygone era, in a city where I lived for six years, where every street hides a memory.
That evening, a nocturnal stroll, just like in the old days, brings me back to the nights spent exploring Paris in search of the perfect image. Around a bend, the majestic silhouette of Notre-Dame emerges in the night, bathed in light, watching over the Seine like an eternal sentinel.
Here, surrounded by old photographer friends, the years fade away and the moment freezes. Paris, timeless, reveals itself once again in all its splendor, under my amazed eyes, like an image rediscovered from an ancient dream.
